Purchasing / Downloading

How soon can I start using CV templates?

You can download CV templates immediately upon purchase. After confirming your shopping cart, you will be transferred to PayPal, our preferred and best known system of payment which allows you to make secure payment transactions. There you are required to fill in your credit card information which will then allow you to download your order straight away.

When the CV template is selected it shows in the basket but when I go to pay the invoice reflects a value of 0 and no payment is processed. What's wrong?

Looks like your browser doesn't allow cookies. Try to enable cookies for popup windows, with IE browser check the 'Confidentiality' tab in Settings. If situation repeats please let us know the IDs of the templates you'd like to purchase and we will send you a direct payment link. After receiving your payment we will upload templates to your account or send you the download links.

How do I receive my CV templates after I made a purchase?

After you make a purchase and if your payment goes through with no problem (antifraud manual check may take more than an hour), you'll receive a confirmation e-mail with the direct download links. But in any case you can login on our site and check the status of your order in your console. After the order is confirmed you'll be able to download it directly from our site in "Your orders" section at any time.

I didn’t get any email from you. Where are my CV templates?

Please note that some email servers can block our emails, so if you didn't get it within more than 2 hours login at our site and check your order status. If it is still not enabled contact us at support info@cvspecial.com and specify you order ID so we can look into this matter.

What will I get by ordering CV templates?

This file includes following: CV (Curriculum Vitae) Template, CL (Cover Letter) Template, an example of chronological (most often used) CV and an example of CL, suggestions how to write a CV and CL. The templates are saved in Word (DOC.). You will need a software for unzipping to be able to open those zipped files. The users of Windows can visit the site www.winzip.com and users of Macintosh can visit the site www.stuffit.com.

In which release versions of Word can I use CV Templates?

CV Templates can be used in all versions - 97, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 and 2010 for Windows 98, 2000, XP, ME, Vista, Windows 7 and all Macintosh releases.

Will your CV Templates work with Word for Macintosh and PC?

Each CV templates is cross-platform compatible and works for both Macintosh and PC Windows Microsoft Word application owners.

How do I create a new page inside the CV template retaining the style and formatting of that page?

To add a page in CV (Word) template: 1. Put cursor aside formatting boxes at the top of the last page 2. Click Enter until you get the new page (click further if you need more then one). To copy layout of the template page to the new one: 1. Put cursor at the top of the page you want to copy 2. Click Shift and down arrow and go to the bottom of the page 3. Click Ctrl+C to save the layout 4. Go to the new blank page and click Ctrl+V 5. Adjust the layout.

License Agreements

Are there any copyright or license implications I need to be aware of?

Yes. By purchasing a CVspecial Templates (CV templates) you purchase a royalty free user license for the use of the file(s). However, you are not permitted to resell the CV templates for any commercial purposes.
In the case of CV templates, the user license permits the use of the CV templates for the creation of any publication, however, the CV template and its graphic backgrounds and images, cannot be copied, duplicated, or otherwise used to produce other templates for resale or other commercial purposes. In the event of doing so CVspecial.com recognizes its legal right as an author, and will take legal action against any party found to be involved in or assisting with such actions.
